Karen is a highly experienced communication coach and change consultant, helping leaders in the corporate and public sector to engage their people for over 25 years. Qualified in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (RECBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and ‘brain friendly’ learning with The Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL), Karen also has a keen interest in neuroscience and the brain in business.
Awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship in 2008, Karen’s engaging approach has helped improve communication, confidence and performance for leaders in businesses as diverse as Standard Life, Balfour Beatty, London Underground and British Gas. Karen has a BA Hons in English, was one of the first Chartered Marketers in the UK, is a qualified Toastmaster and was shortlisted for a CIPR award in 2011. Karen cares deeply about enabling people to achieve significant breakthroughs in their life. She mentors young people as a volunteer for The Prince’s Trust and has private practices in Windsor and Maidenhead. She also enjoys going to the gym, cycle touring and relaxing at spas whenever she can!
