Lunch with
Dame Laura Kenny on Wednesday, 18th October 2023, was a truly exceptional event
for Sarah Chapman. Dame Laura Kenny, widely regarded as the greatest female
British Olympian of all time, shared her remarkable journey and achievements
with the attendees. The event took place at M Restaurant, located at 60
Threadneedle St in London.
Dame Laura
Kenny’s extraordinary story was highlighted, from her battles with a collapsed
lung and asthma to her impressive tally of seven world titles, 14 European
titles, and two Commonwealth gold medals. Her exceptional performances in the
last three Olympic Games solidified her as a legend in the world of sports and
earned her the title of Dame. With five Olympic gold medals and a silver, she
holds a prominent place in both British Olympic history and the history of
female cycling.
During the
