The Opportunity

Oventrop is a business which specialises in pioneering modular heating, cooling and potable water systems. Oventrop UK is the UK-based subsidiary of Oventrop, a German company founded in 1851. The group sells and distributes its products and services globally.

Chapman Consulting had previously worked with Oventrop UK on projects ranging from simple PowerPoint templates to integrated email marketing campaigns. Oventrop appointed Chapman Consulting in 2020 to conduct a marketing audit of the business, a key recommendation of which was the strengthening of its digital marketing activities.

The Challenge

The central plank of the project was the production of an integrated series of e-mail campaigns which would help to cleanse and build the company’s marketing database, increase brand awareness and ultimately generate new business prospects. Five campaigns were produced and distributed over a period of 7 months; each campaign was also integrated onto social media platforms for maximum reach. 

The campaigns were subdivided for two different target audiences: current and potential customers. Content focused on company updates and achievements supported by spotlighted best-selling products with links to the company website.

The Outcome

The five campaigns have enabled Oventrop UK to dramatically clean, condense and reinforce its marketing database, providing an invaluable tool for ongoing marketing activities. 

Analytics reports on the campaigns indicate excellent audience engagement with high open and low bounce rates. Chapman Consulting continues to work with Oventrop UK on its digital marketing strategy.
