The Opportunity

KBS are a leading electrical contractor in the UK who have been delivering high-quality services to their clients for over 60 years.

KBS commissioned Chapman Consulting to make them their first piece of email marketing to promote their positive approach towards sustainability. Email marketing is one of the best ways to reach and engage with your audience, and they wanted to utilise this to highlight KBS’ Sustainability and ESG Goals.

The Challenge

This project was the creation and delivery of an e-flyer campaign to be sent to a list of relevant contacts. The key objectives were showcasing that KBS are continuously striving to reduce their operating impact on the environment, and that their team of dedicated professionals provide their clients with the highest quality electrical services, while also ensuring that their projects are environmentally responsible. We focused on the brand messaging used, portraying KBS as offering a conscientious service by promoting their Carbon Offset Programme, an initiative in which they have partnered with the Carbon Trust to calculate and offset the carbon emissions generated by their operations. and therefore elevating them as responsible experts in their field.

The Outcome

The design and copy were successful in delivering the message. The campaign started the momentum for KBS in terms of brand awareness and promoting that they are implementing sustainable practises and therefore are helping their clients to reduce their carbon footprint.
