Franchi Fire Door Safety Fortnight

The Opportunity

After new fire safety regulations were introduced to England after the Grenfell tragedy, Franchi requested that Chapman Consulting assist them in promoting their fire door products, escape hardware, and installation service to their London customer base.

The Challenge

Chapman Consulting created Fire Safety Door Fortnight; an exciting PR campaign dedicated solely to fire door safety. Franchi’s team hosted the event for two weeks at both their Holloway Road and Kentish Town stores.

Chapman Consulting produced marketing collateral that included advertisements for the local press, with a promotional QR code. For in-store, a digitally printed, trifold flyer, hanging signs, window graphics, pin badges, and baseball caps were developed. A social media campaign was coordinated to showcase the event, products, and services, as well as email signatures enabled with a clickable call-to-action.

The Outcome


The campaign was successful in reaching the community and harnessing awareness and trust in Franchi’s products and knowledge. 

The success of the event enabled Franchi to expand its clientele base, seeing an increased footfall of 38% during the period of the campaign, as well as highlighting its commitment to quality fire door products, escape hardware and installation services building all important trust with their London customer base.
